Late post━━ Last August 4 was the University of the Philippines' Freshmen Night & Torch Night. Yeah, Freshmen night... I'm done with that (sophie here!!^ ^ 2 more years to go!).

Basically, here's how the Torch Night goes...

1. Students from the 2nd year are assigned to make a torch that will represent their course. So now, it's our turn to make the course torch.
2. During the Torch Night, each torch will be judged and lit up.
3. The sophies' block leader will then pass the torch to the freshies' block leader.

In short, it's just some ceremony to make up for the school's lack of activities. KIDDING. (^-^*)


This was the original design for the Computer Science torch. But since we lacked time, it was decided to make just the robotic arm instead.


Materials:
★ rubber sheet
☆ 2 cans of spray paint (metallic & chrome silver)
★ hot glue
☆ bamboo poles of different sizes
★ metal bolts
☆ markers
★ newspapers
☆ aluminum foil
★ wick
☆ LED lights
★ wires & etc.

Here's the outcome:


We were actually glad that it turned out nice... and robotic. haha




Lights were turned on for that pizaaz!

Hee. Hee. Hee. We don't have to be architecture students to make something like this. Ooh! Maybe I could make my own cosplay props. *snickers* (Pfft! still a noob)
